How Tomweb collects, uses and protects personal data on this website.

POLICY

Last updated: October 16, 2026.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Tomweb Comunicação Online, a company based in Brazil (CNPJ 52.309.386/0001-11), with in-person service in the Greater Florianópolis area (Santa Catarina) and remote service worldwide. For the purposes of this policy, Tomweb is the controller of the personal data processed. Contact for privacy matters: falecom@tw3.ia.br.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, WhatsApp number (optional), your message and a record of your consent.
  • WhatsApp contact: when you click the WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place in the app and is subject to Meta’s privacy policy. We keep the conversation only to serve you.
  • Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and cookie data.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your request and prepare proposals (your consent and steps taken before a contract, under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law, LGPD, article 7, items I and V).
  • To measure site usage and improve the experience, only with your consent.
  • To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations (LGPD, article 7, items II and IX).

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies, which the site needs to work, and statistical cookies, which are only activated if you click “Accept” on the notice shown on the site. If you choose “Essentials only”, no measurement tool is loaded. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. We also use one small functional cookie, called tw_lang, that only remembers the language you choose; it does not track you.

5. Who we share data with, and where it is processed

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by providers that help us run the site and our service: hosting and email (Locaweb), Google services (corporate email and, if enabled, Google Analytics and Search Console) and Meta (WhatsApp). Tomweb is based in Brazil, so your data is processed in Brazil. Some providers may process data in other countries, with the safeguards provided by the LGPD.

6. How long we keep data

For as long as needed to answer your request and maintain the business relationship, and afterwards for the period required by legal obligations. After that, we delete or anonymize the data.

7. Your rights

At any time, you can ask for: confirmation that we process your data; access; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion; portability; information about who we share data with; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise any of them, write to falecom@tw3.ia.br. If you live outside Brazil, we will also consider your request under the privacy laws that apply to you, to the extent they apply to us.

8. Security

We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, such as a secure connection (HTTPS) and access control to our systems.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
